Do Air Purifiers Help With Mould in Singapore Homes?

An air purifier captures airborne mould spores but cannot remove the damp that grows mould. Fix moisture first, then use H13 HEPA to stop spores spreading.

Short answer: An air purifier will not remove mould that is already growing — mould feeds on moisture, and no filter can dry a damp wall. What it does well is capture the airborne spores that spread mould from room to room. Will an air purifier remove the musty mould smell in my home?

It helps, but it will not finish the job alone.
